2021 – Groundwater & Climate Change

The 2021 joint event was delivered live online, focusing on the topic of Groundwater & Climate Change, in recognition of the UN Climate Change conference (COP26). The event was a great success with approximately 400 delegates from across the world:

The 2021 Ineson Lecture was presented by Dr Mike Jones of Thames Water titled: ‘Groundwater: How does it fit in planning water supply for future climates?’.

The 2021 Darcy Lecture “How Are Geochemical Reactions in Aquifers Connected to Climate Change Mitigation?” was presented by Chen Zhu, Professor of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and the Haydn Murray Chair at Indiana University.
